Our Residential Drug Treatment Programs serve clients referred by any source including self-referrals, parents, community leaders, schools, social service agencies, Connecticut Court Support Services Division, the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Department of Correction and various other resources. The programs utilize evidence-based treatment approaches that are designed to help clients learn the necessary skills to function independently in the community while still managing their recovery from addiction.

Renaissance East Drug Treatment Program

Located in a former convent in Waterbury, Renaissance's 32-bed residential drug treatment program serves clients referred by any source including self-referrals, significant others, community leaders, social service agencies, Connecticut Court Support Services Division, the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Department of Correction and various other agencies.

This comprehensive program offers a wide range of services to each client, including individual, family, and group counseling, psycho-educational programming, life skills, self-help meetings and formal referrals to community agencies based on individual needs.

Length of stay is individualized, with the average being three to six months. Clients gradually return to the community as they meet the goals on the person-centered treatment plan. The goals of the program are to return clients to the community with housing, employment and an aftercare plan.

Renaissance West Drug Treatment Program

Renaissance West is a 45-bed residential level III.5 intermediate/long term residential treatment facility located in Waterbury, Connecticut. This program serves male clients, eighteen years and older referred by the Connecticut Court Support Services Division and the Connecticut Department of Correction.

The Renaissance West Drug Treatment Program offers a wide range of services to each client, including individual, family, and group counseling, psycho-educational programming, life skills, self-help meetings and formal referrals to community agencies based on individual needs.

Working closely with the legal system, this program employs a three-phase approach aimed at gradually returning clients to the community. Length of stay is individualized, with the average being three to nine months. The goal of the program is to return clients to the community with housing, employment and an aftercare plan.
